List of The Real Housewives cast members

This is a list of full-time cast members who have been features on the American reality television show The Real Housewives. The series follows an affluent group of women as they socialize and cope with life's struggles.^[1] The series initially began in 2006 with the series of The Real Housewives of Orange County that featured Kimberly Bryant, Jo De La Rosa, Vicki Gunvalson, Jeana Keough and Lauri Waring.^[2] Since the premiere of the series, it has grown to include multiple series in different cities and areas across the United States that include; New York City and Atlanta in 2008;^[3][4] New Jersey in 2009;^[5] Washington, D.C.^[6] and Beverly Hills in 2010;^[7] Miami in 2011;^[8] Potomac and Dallas in 2016.^[9][10] The franchise has grown to be successful with several housewives receiving spin-offs of their respective series.

Since the conception on the series in 2006, the only original reaming cast member of The Real Housewives of Orange County is Gunvalson.^[11] Other remaining original cast members of their series include Ramona Singer, Luann de Lesseps and Bethenny Frankel of The Real Housewives of New York City;^[12] Shereé Whitfield of The Real Housewives of Atlanta;^[13] Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita of The Real Housewives of New Jersey;^[14] Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills;^[15] Gizelle Bryant, Karen Huger, Charrisse Jackson-Jordan, Robyn Dixon and Ashley Darby The Real Housewives of PotomacCary Deuber, Tiffany Hendra, Stephanie Hollman, LeeAnne Locken, and Brandi Redmond of The Real Housewives of Dallas.^[16] no longer has a remaining original cast member since the departure of NeNe Leakes after season 7^[17] and The Real Housewives of D.C. and The Real Housewives of Miami have since been cancelled.^[18][19] As of 27 September 2016, a total of 96 housewives have been featured across the U.S. installments.

The domestic franchise has inspired many multiple series across the world as international installments. The first of the international installment was The Real Housewives of Athens which premiered in 2011.^[20] Since the premiere of the series focused in Athens it has gown to include multiple series in different cities around the world that include; Vancouver in 2012;^[21] Los Angeles (a French series) in 2013;^[22] Melbourne in 2014;^[23] Cheshire in 2015;^[24] Auckland in 2016;^[25] additional variants are planned for 2017 in Sydney and Toronto.^[26][27] Since the premiere of the international series, Athens, Vancouver and Les Vrais Housewives have since been cancelled. As of 27 September 2016, a total of 50 housewives have been featured across the international installments.
