Lala Fazal-ur-Rehman

Lala Fazal-ur-Rehman (Urdu: لالا فضل الرحمان) was administrator of Karachi District, Sindh, Pakistan. He was dismissed as administrator on 30 September, 2011 after his video was aired on different TV channels in which he was seen drunk.

On February 20, 2010 the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) reached consensus on the issue of the appointment of the administrators for major cites in Sindh. Lala Fazal-ur-Rehman was appointed as administrator of Karachi while Aftab Khatri was appointed as administrator in Hyderabad.[1]

Fazlur Rehman has also in the past administered Karachi as caretaker and magistrate before. He was also the magistrate of Jacobabad District.
