Killer Rack is a 2015 horror-comedy about a woman, who after being passed over for several office promotions, decides to opt for breast enhancement surgery from a disreputable surgeon. The film, directed by Gregory Lamberson, was shot in Buffalo, New York and features a cameo by Lloyd Kaufman of Troma Entertainment. Killer Rack garnered multiple awards including Best Feature (ScareCon), Best Monster (Friday Night Theatre Film Festival) and Outstanding Horror Comedy (Zed Fest).[1]

Plot

Betty (Jessica Zwolak) gets plastic surgery from a sleazy plastic surgeon, Dr Thulu (Debbie Rochon). Her new "endowments" then develop into full-blown killing machines.

Reception

Really Awful Movies said, "Killer Rack is fun and playful, playing with movie conventions...It’s also an incisive commentary on our superficial, beauty obsessed society."[2] Blood Bath and Beyond said the film "hit all of its jokes."[3]Daily Grindhouse reports that Killer Rack has "a tongue-firmly-in-cheek blend of comedy, gore, and body-horror that delivers laugh-out-loud moments..."[4]

The film won Best Feature (ScareCon), Best Monster (Friday Night Theatre Film Festival) and Outstanding Horror Comedy (Zed Fest).[5]
