Harry Michaels
Harry Michaels, (OAM), is an Australian Greek-Cypriot entrepreneur, active in both the television and soccer industries.
Awards
He was recognized in 2004 with an Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for services to "multicultural media" and "Soccer".[1]
Television career
Michaels pioneered English-language ethnic television, as the host of Greek Affair[2] and The Greek Variety Show which were broadcast on Network 10 in the 1980s.[3]
He is also a former actor, who shot to fame in the late 1970s for his role as Deli assistant Giovanni Lanzi in the iconic Australian TV series Number 96.
