Arinaitwe Rurihona, professionally known as Haka Mukiga is a Ugandan world folk singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, poet and dancer. He sings in different Ugandan local languages including Rukiga (mother tongue), Acholi, Rukonjo, Rufumbira and many more.[1]

Education

Haka Mukiga attended Vincent Alex Primary School in Mukono, Naalya SS and Kisubi High School for his secondary school before joining Makerere University in 2012 for bachelor’s degree in Arts in Arts (BA) and majored in Tourism.[2]

Music career

Haka Mukiga started learning to play Enanga in 2013, then the guitar in 2014 and started playing at festivals one year later starting with The Pearl Rhythm stage coach and festival. He also performed at the annual Milege World Music Festival both in 2014 and 2015, Laba Festival.[3][4][5][6]
