Dmytro Blazheyovskyi

Dmytro Blazheyovskyi (Ukrainian: Дмитро Блажейовський, August 21, 1910 April 23, 2011) was a Ukrainian scientist and religious writer. Blazheyovskyi authored over twenty-five scholarly articles on the history of the Ukrainian church. He died in Lviv, Ukraine, at the age of 100.[1]

Blazheyovskyi was well known in the Ukraine for his numerous sketches of traditional Ukrainian embroidery. Throughout his life, Blazheyovskyi had exhibitions of his work in his home country and abroad. On May 6, 1999, he opened a museum in Lviv.[2] He was awarded with the Shevchenko National Prize.[3]
