This article is about the running back. For the offensive lineman, see Dave Adams (Canadian football).

David Delaney Adams (born June 24, 1964) was a gridiron football running back who played in the National Football League and Canadian Football League. He was selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the twelfth round of the 1987 NFL Draft with the 309th overall pick, but never played for the Colts in the regular season. He was later signed by the Dallas Cowboys, who he played three games for in 1987. Adams was signed by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and played in four regular season CFL games from 1989 to 1990. Adams caught exactly one touchdown pass in both the NFL and CFL.[1]
