Belmonte Mezzagno (Sicilian: Bellumunti but more properly U Mizzagnu in the local version of the Sicilian language) is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Palermo in the Italian region Sicily, located about 8 kilometres (5 mi) south of Palermo.

Belmonte Mezzagno is famous for its olive oil and goat's milk cheese.

Benedetto Spera, member of the Sicilian Mafia convicted in absentia of the killings of anti-mafia judges Paolo Borsellino and Giovanni Falcone was born in Belmonte Mezzagno.
