Baek Jong-won (Hangul: 백종원,白種元; born September 4, 1966) is a South Korean chef, television personality and businessman. He is the CEO of 26 restaurant franchises with 169 branches across the country including Saemal sikdang.[1] He was a cast member in the variety show My Little Television.[2]
He is celebrated for offering recipes that are accessible to the Korean public on his show 'House Cook Master Baek'.
Baek married actress So Yoo-jin on January 19, 2013.[3][4] Their first child, a son, was born on April 9, 2014.[5] Second child, a daughter, was born on September 21, 2015.[6]
