It was the second edition of the tournament and was a non-tour event i.e. not part of the 1975 Commercial Union Assurance Grand Prix or 1975 World Championship Tennis circuit. The tournament was played in Tucson, Arizona, and ran from March 31 through April 6, 1975. Twelfth-seeded John Alexander won the singles title.[3]
